Organic fertilisers are good all-purpose fertilisers containing many essential plant nutrients. By using organic fertilisers in a targeted manner, you protect the environment and at the same time save on mineral fertilisers. This can be achieved by knowing exactly the composition of the ingredients: the content of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium is often subject to changes due to different kinds of feeding. WESSLING analyses your fertiliser and thereby provides information about its contents and composition - and thereby provides the basis for your fertiliser strategy.

How well plants thrive depends largely on the nutrient content of the soil. Farmers therefore benefit from the precise knowledge of the nutritional values of their farm manure.

According to the German Fertiliser Ordinance (DüMV), nutrients from a discharge quantity of 200 tonnes must be labelled according to a precisely specified form. This basically applies to main nutrients and, if the labelling threshold is exceeded, micronutrients as well. An analysis of the heavy metals also serves as a safeguard that you do not supply too high and thereby toxic concentrations to your soil.

Through our expertise we support you in the optimal use and correct labelling of your manure. In our state-of-the-art laboratories, we analyse the composition of agricultural fertilisers and their nutrient content. Our range of services includes the basic analysis as well as two additional, optional packages:

  • Basic analysis: analysis of dry matter and organic dry matter, content measurement of nitrogen, ammonium nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium
  • Additional heavy metals package: analysis of heavy metals according to the Fertiliser Ordinance
    Tip: we recommend this analysis for larger quantities or critical substances. This gives you the certainty that you are supplying flawless material when delivering the fertiliser.
  • Additional micronutrients package: analysis of copper, zinc, sulphur, magnesium and calcium
